The Institute of Cell Therapy at the 9th International Conference on HLA-G, Paris, France

The Institute of Cell Therapy participated in the 9th International Conference on HLA-G in Paris (4&5 July 2022). The conference focused on the biology and clinical significance of the immunomodulatory molecule HLA-G in the fields of oncology, transplantation, autoimmune and other diseases.

 

PhD candidate Memnon Lysandrou presented our group’s approach to the development of innovative cell therapies exploiting the properties of HLA-G to treat graft-versus-host disease (GvHD), which is one of the main complications of allogeneic hematopoietic cell transplantation.
