The team of the Institute of Cell Therapyand the Bone Marrow Transplantation Unit in collaboration with the General Hospital Papanikolaou, the Institute of Applied Biosciences at the Centre for Research and Technology Hellas (INAB|CERTH), the Karaiskakio Foundation and the company PHARMASSIST LTD have the honor to announce that we will we are participating in the upcoming annual meeting of ISCT, International Society for Cell & Gene Therapy, May 29-June 1 2024 Vancouver where the paper entitled “FIRST-IN-HUMAN PHASE I/II CLINICAL TRIAL OF IG-TREGS FOR GVHD PREVENTION” will be presented by postdoctoral researcher Memnon Lysandrou who received the ISCT 2024 Early Stage Professionals Award among a very large number of abstracts. We are thrilled for this tremendous recognition as it reflects a multi-year translation journey that began in 2012 and has endured countless obstacles to fruition. But none of this would ever have been possible if we hadn’t managed to create an incredible interdisciplinary team of intelligent students, researchers and clinicians both in institutions in Greece and abroad.
